A Blessing in Hobby Lobby

I am so excited about how God used somebody to bless me today that I just had to share.  It is getting close to holiday season here at the CH, and I really want to make some decorative changes in my dining room and hallway.  They have some really OLD painting in them.  They had just collected over the years and nobody has really done anything about them.  I was told I could change some things because it is now my home, so the husband and I went looking today.  Lucky us, Hobby Lobby had 50% off some VERY cute stuff.  **FLASHBACK**to a month ago when we were at the beach with my parents.  I came across some CUTE canvas paintings that had the cutest sayings on them that I wanted so bad, but could not afford.  The paintings have quotes that I believe can change a kids outlook on life and speak some truth into their heart.  I took pics with the hopes of getting someone close to home to paint them. I want to put them in the dining room because our kids spend a lot of time at the table. If they see it enough, they will begin to remember it and possibly live it.   **BACK**to now.   As we are looking at these things to hang in the hall, I said to Dustin, "I really need to get somebody to look at these painting and see what they would charge for them or even if they have the time."  Something to that effect.  I cannot remember if I said my cousin Lori's name out loud or if we both just thought it.  She is a SUPER talented lady who paints TONS of stuff for all different organizations, businesses, individuals, etc.  Well in like 2 minutes Lori turned onto the aisle we were shopping in.  People, do not tell me that God does not put people in your path right when you need them.  She said, "If there is anything I can do for ya'll just let me know."  I told her about what I needed and she let us pick the size canvas we wanted, bought them, and is going to donate the paintings.  I am getting teary-eyed typing.  Shock, I know.  We thanked her over and over again but I just wanted to publicly thank her here, even if she never reads it.  She has no idea how big of a blessing it was to Dustin and I.  Plus, she was used by God to let us know that He wants to help us even with the smallest details of our lives.  Those paintings were not life or death, but they were something I really wanted.  They show that God hears the tiniest desires of our hearts and wants to bless us.  So, Lori Hensley, thank you for blessing Dustin and I today.  Thank you for being so generous and selfless.  And thank you for sharing an amazing talent that I am truly in awe of.
