Amy was outdoing me...

Amy Garnett was outdoing me with posts so I had to catch up!

I let Amy have the original blog post about this cool website she found and turned me onto, but now I think I can share with you all too!  We want as many people to get involved with this website as we can.  It is called  MoreLoveLetters.com  The job is twofold.  First you write random letters to a stranger and just leave them in public places for people to find.  You make sure you write MoreLoveLetters.com somewhere on the letter and do not put your return address on it.  The idea is to anonymously touch someone with a kind word and then turn them onto the website so that they can do the same for someone else.  The second part is that twice a month she sends out an email to everyone signed up.  The email has the name of a person who needs some encouragement.  You have 10 days to send in your letter.  They bundle them all up and send them to the person in need.  HOW STINKIN' COOL!  They get these letters from all over at the same time.  What an amazing sight to see this person go to their mailbox and see they got letters from all over.  I cannot wait to be a part of this.

Also, I get to share the news now....Dustin and I have decided to do foster classes.  Hopefully in a few short months we will be licensed foster parents.  Our goal is to take teenagers.  Now, we realize God may have another plan, but as for now we want teenagers.  We covet your prayers.  We know people will think we are crazy.  What the heck are a 24 and 26 year old doing fostering teens?  Have they lost their minds?  Well, yes, we are a little crazy.  We are falling more and more into a crazy love with our Creator and each other.  We believe more every day that we were meant to share it with people within our home.  We believe he has given us both a passion that lines up perfectly with each other and we cannot wait to see how God is going to use us.  Keep in mind:  We are terrified.  It makes me nauseated to think about the changes, the "hows", the money, the everything.  BUT we KNOW God is calling us to this and I don't know that I have ever been more ecstatic because I knew something so strongly.  To know that God is actively calling you and that I have listened and I am following is the best thing EVER.  I read a blog called itsalmostnaptime.blogspot.com.  Her stuff is awesome, and this weeks was about finding your passion and going after it.  Read it.  BUT be prepared to change things.  I hope you reading this find your passion, your thing.  I would love to have some people in foster classes with us that we know.  Actually, I would more than love it.  I can put you in contact with someone if you need me to.

My verse for the day that has popped up multiple times today is Ephesians 2:10  "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."   God created you specifically to do good works for Him.  He has those works planned out, but you have to seek that plan.  And then you have to do it.  Are you?
