I stole this...

I am stealing this idea from a blog I follow called "It's Almost Naptime".  Her blog is wonderful and I HIGHLY recommend it, so I am copying her latest idea.  She decided to "talk about me" and I will to. Some of you will probably quit reading right now, and I do not blame you! HA!
On my nightstand:
I am currently reading two books.  Both happen to be biographies right now.
A Random Act  By Cindi Broaddus.  This lady was pushed into notoriety in 2001 when a random person threw sulfuric acid from an overpass and it slammed through the windshield of the car she was in.  She was burned very severely.  The book is about how she has coped.  I am just starting it, so I will give a better update later, but I am very excited about reading her story.
For Laci by Sharon Rocha.  This is a book by Laci Peterson's mother.  I enjoy reading about crimes and those close to them.  I read the story by the mistress of Scott Peterson and then found this book not long after.  I have just started it as well.  Getting different sides of a certain story appeals to me greatly and I am excited about her side.

Movies I've Seen
I do NOT go to the movie theater often, if ever.  I hate it.  I want to be able to go pee when I want without missing the movie, not be cold, and get comfy.  I feel I can do none of that at the movie theater, so I just don't go.  I do record movies at home and watch them.
**Have a Little Faith  I read this book last year and the movie actually did it justice.  Mitch Albom books are so amazing and I recommend them all.  GO GET THEM.  You can read them quickly and you will be a better person because of it.  This book touched my heart when I read it and I was so excited to see they had made a movie, but leery of the situation as well.  They never seem to be good but this one was.  Read the book, then watch the movie.  Have tissues ready and prepare your heart.

**Life As We Know It  This movie was funny, sweet, and moving.  It is about a guy and a girl who are friends of a couple.  They both hate each other.  When the couple dies they are forced to move in together to raise the couples one year old daughter.  The upheaval and confusion that follow are funny and sad.  LOVED this movie, plus Josh Duhamel isn't bad to look at for 2 hours ;)

Sadly I cannot think of another movie I have recently watched! HA!

TV:
I got convicted about watching Glee.  Ugh.  I really wanted to keep watching too.  They were about to perform West Side Story(one of my faves!)  And my favorite, Sam is returning to try and win the heart of his love.  BUT the Holy Spirit stirred me and so I deleted it from recording.  I will still be belting their songs in my car though, at least as long as I don't get convicted about it.

Criminal Minds still has my heart.  Ok, Shemar Moore has my heart and the show has my attention...well,he has that too...You get the point tho.  I LOVE this show.  Every part of it.  The quotes.  Penelope.  Rossi's insight.  Reid's random facts.  I am still holding out for Morgan and Penelope to get together.  If I cannot have him, I want that precious computer guru with the crazy outfits to win his heart.

Body of Proof and Bones have been strong so far.  Grimm is steal getting my attention.  Reality on A&E is still enjoyed.  Rizzoli and Isles has returned and I still love it!

In My Ear:

CHRISTmas music has returned on 96.9 and I could not be happier.  "Mary Did You Know?" is my favorite CHRISTmas song.  I have heard TONS of versions.  My favorite is by far the one by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd.  WHOA.

"You Love Me Anyway" by Sidewalk Prophets is maybe my favorite song ever.  The words are so very powerful.  "I am Judas's kiss, but you love me anyway." That is an amazing line. Amazing.

Marc Broussard.  This man is good.  Louisiana born and bred.  He mixes blues, jazz, country, rock, gospel and just about anything else.  He will get your foot tapping, your head bobbing, and your mouth smiling.  Listen and love.

In My Kitchen:
Tonight I made sausage, gravy, biscuits, and eggs.  It was yummy.  My husband said so.

Cookies are always in my kitchen.  The boys tend to enjoy them...so do it...hehe.

Coffee.

Looking Forward To:
CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!  My favorite time of year.  I LOVE IT!!  I wish the joy and happiness of this season lasted in everyone all year.

Amy goes out of town in January and Dustin and I will be taking care of her kids for most of the week.  I am pumped.  She thinks I am crazy.  I think she might be right, but she is too.  She chooses to do it everyday of the year.  I will get to fill my "mommy need" and be set for a while.  :)

Well, now you have tons of useless info about me.  Use it well.
