Life is changing..

This blog will be completely random updates about my life.  I warned you.

I have now lost 7 pounds.  I am excited.  It is coming off slowly, but I heard that was a good thing.  I hear if it comes off fast, you are more likely to gain it back, so I am celebrating the weight loss.

Apparantly this is the season for leaving.  You all know my best friend moved.  Now the guy who is pretty much my big brother is moving.  And my accountability partner is moving too.  These are both good things though because they are moving to follow their dreams.

Nick Cottrell somehow became my big brother over this past year.  We fight, oh man do we have some good verbal showdowns.  BUT we keep each other on their toes and deep down we both know that we mean well.  He just got a job closer to where he grew up and as the HEAD girls basketball coach.  It is what he has been looking for and I am happy for him.  I told him I still have to approve his girls he picks out!  :)  He is going to do so well and I know his mom is glad to have him closer.  Good Luck Nicky!!

Sarah Stephenson is my accountability partner.  We text or email all through the day with what we have ate, excercise, and just odds and ends.  Auburn is her destination.  Yuck.  But anyways...it is what she wants so Good luck Sarah, hurry and get that degree.

I am having about 15 teenage girls at my house for a sleepover Friday night.  God be with me.  Craziness will happen, and I hope we get a word from God during it all.  Please continue to pray for these young girls and me as I try to be a good witness and friend to them.

Block Party in Danville this weekend.  It is one of my favorite things.  Actually I think that will be another blog, maybe next week.   Please pray that people see Jesus in all of us workers.  Also pray that we continue to see the joy and fun this brings to others lives and our own.

This past Monday was the one year anniversary of Tray and John's wreck.  I am so thankful that these two crazy guys are still around.  My life would be so different if I didn't have John to worry about with his craziness and didn't get random text messages all through the day from Tray.  I love them both dearly and I am so glad that I serve a God who still performs miracles.

I hope you reading this are having a great day.  Take a moment at the end of this to please pray for my requests.  I am begging(i know it isn't polite, but I really need them.)  And take a moment to be thankful for the people in your life.  We forget to count our blessings so often, or I do for sure.  Just be thankful.

Colossians 3:15-17

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
