I haven't update in a while. I am getting bad about that. It seems since I moved home my life is boring again. Actually, it isn't, but it is back to normal so I tend to see it that way. Since we last communicated I was once again reminded how lucky I am to have an amazing group of friends, a wonderful family, and a God who always shows up right on time. Our living room floor had begun to sink several months ago. After the boys lived here for 2 months it had become a crater. Our entire living room would shake when you walked in it. Dustin finally got fed up and decided it was time for demolition. Luckily, Happy has some experience in building floors so he lent his assistance. Drew was also willing to help. Oh and a big thank you to Danny Garner, Happy's step dad, Jim Tanner, and Tray Williams for the use of some of their tools! Along the way other help came in. Alex Archer stopped by to help and Marcus, Sarah's boyfriend put in lots of work. We could never thank everybody enough but we are VERY grateful. Along the way, I apparently forgot who my God is and panicked about the money. I should have known better. It all worked out. We had some funds come in, we got to take some wood back for a good return, and Dustin has a tech that is going to stretch our carpet back FOR FREE! I was reminded that My God is so wonderful and never fails His children. Our insurance is also going to cover a new Central Unit, which is a big need right now. We may have this old house is tip top shape yet!
Chris has been gone for almost three weeks. We are missing him, but so excited about his journey. We have talked several times on FB. He is doing well and is enjoying his time. Continue to pray for him and his work their. I am going to also ask that you, my readers (if there are any), please pray for me and the high school girls at my church. I am going to start a Bible study with them in May and I want to be a blessing to them and help them grow in Christ.
