Heaven is For Real

This title is random but very true and holds special meaning.  I recently read a book by this title.  I would HIGHLY recommend it for anyone, young or old.  It is the true story of a little boy who experienced Heaven during an emergency appendectomy.  After reading it, I firmly believe he did experience it.  It will change your perspective of Heaven.

The more weird story about this is how I came across the book.  Sometimes there are things in life you just know are a "God thing" and this was one.  I read People Magazine every week, cover to cover.  In it they have book reviews and there was a book review about this book.  I was intrigued but didn't think much else about it.  Well about a week later I was vacuuming my living room and moved the end table from the loveseat and there sat the book.  It had never been opened...the binding never cracked.  Price tag still on it.  I was amazed at God for putting it there and began to try to figure out where it came from.  My brother said it wasn't his and he had never seen any of the other boys with it.  I just discovered today that it is Hunter Garnett's book, but the fact that God put it where He did and let me discover it how I did still has me speechless.  I love my God.  Well I read the book and was completely in awe of it.   I want to say so much about it but I don't want to give it away.  This little boy's take on what he saw there will baffle you and make you so excited to get to Heaven.  I am going to say this about one part...He talks about meeting his grandfather in Heaven and that his grandfather was sitting in a chair praying for his loved ones on earth.  The Bible tells us that their is a great host of witnesses in Heaven.  It makes sense.  Why would you stop praying when you get to Heaven?  Why wouldn't you plead for your loved ones still on Earth?  It makes me so happy that not only do I have people who care about me interceding for me here but I have them pleading my case in Heaven too.  That is AWESOME!!

If I could walk around handing out copies of this book, I would.  I strongly encourage you to read it.

For those of you who might be curious(I realize that is probably a small number) I will update you quickly on my work situation.  I have not heard from Cullman Christian School.  God did however set it up perfectly for me a part time job when I got home.  The week before I got home was a cashier's last week at the carwash where I worked 2 years ago.  I got lucky and heard about it and got the job.  I am working 3 days a week and also subbing when I get called.  God ALWAYS provides.

Hope this blog finds you all healthy and happy!!  I would love to hear from you!  Keep me updated on your life.  And if you read Heaven is For Real please let me know what you think!
