Moving Home!

WE MOVE HOME THIS WEEKEND!! Woo..now that I got that out...

As you can tell I am excited and so is Dustin.  It will be so good to be home in our own home and with family and friends and my doggies.  We get to attend church at our church Sunday.  Then eat at Granny’s! J  We have enjoyed this time here and just having each other.  Our relationship has grown.  We have had fun, but we are ready to be home.

We are doing the Dave Ramsey study here on our own, so it will be nice to actually get to go to class.  We have enjoyed what we have learned so far and can’t wait to see what God is going to teach us in this study in the coming weeks. 

I am going to ask all my readers(if there are any of you left..) to pray for the upcoming Covenant retreat at our church.  It is for high school kids.  They didn’t want to do a True Love Waits this year, but something a little different.  Penny Roy is leading it, so prayers for her especially.  Joe David will be helping.  I think Mary Stephenson is going to be cooking..Thank the Lord for her!  Dustin and I will be the house parents for the boys’ house.  I think our kids need this.  They didn’t do True Love Waits because the fact of the matter is may teens have already broken that vow.  This is to teach them to make Covenants with God and to understand what they mean.  Even if they have messed up, I serve a God of forgiveness and second chances and that is what this is about.  There is so much to be taught to them.  Pray for their receptiveness and participation.  I want tons of kids to show up and I know God can do it.  This could change some kids’ lives and I can’t wait to be a part of it.  Please lift these kids and leaders up.  And if you have a kid you want to go…encourage them!

C25K kicked my butt his morning.  But I enjoyed it…just gotta keep running.  My Bible reading is still hard right now because I am in the beginnings of the Old Testament.  It is so hard to read through, for me at least, but I just gotta keep reading!
